Heres an mph with both long and lat G overlaid. It's correlated with corner segment. The carIt's an 1995 E36 M3 with a 1998 3.2L engine and transmission. In 1996 BMW moved the M3 from a 3L to 3.2L, but added the OBD2 pollution control. In stock form, both engines produced the same HP. I've added Sunbelt cams, ODB1 intake, larger 3.5" air flow meter, Bimmerworld cold air intake, 24# injectors, and a chip to bump the HP up from 240 to about 295. I've got a Ground Control double adjustable race suspension, Raven cage and splitter, and a fire system. Techmax (local Euro car specialists) did the exhaust (2 resonators and a high flow muffler for a couple of tracks with noise restrictions). The car weighs 3060 with me in it and enough gas to keep it running at the end of the race. I've got 120lbs of ballast added to make minimum weight for my class (3048lbs with driver). All body panels are original BMW (class rules - no carbon fibre). I've also got a passenger seat for instructing. |
