      • Note: Author's car is a 1999 E36 M3 with no power modifications. TC Kline suspension, 27mm front anti-sway bar, no rear anti-sway bar, and BF Goodrich R1 tires.

Turn 1R: Taken in 3rd gear in most cars. After a few sessions DO NOT early apex this turn due to marbles and crap towards the inside. This is the second most important turn on the track, as it is the start of a long acceleration zone that does not end until turn 4. Track out to the left and stay out.

Turn 2R: Unless you're driving a car with a better power:weight ratio that an E46 M3, this is taken with NO BRAKES. You will be driving uphill to the right, and the fastest apex through turn 2 is 2-3 feet before the crest of the hill. This will take some experimentation, and you will come to realize that there is far more track out room than you think there is over the crest. Take turn 2 flat out and unwind as you track out. This is an exceptionally gratifying turn, driven correctly. Track out to the left, stay left, and keep your foot buried in the throttle.

Turn 3R: Same as turn 2 except with no hill i.e. no brakes. This turn exits you onto the 2nd longest straight on this track, so make it count. Early apexes here are rewarded by monstrous plumes of dust as you run out of road at track-out. To master turn 3, force yourself to stay off the brakes and apex late. You may have to decrease throttle at entry to settle the car; then maintain a smooth radius using gentle throttle modulation. An E46 M3 will be at it's traction limit most of the way through. You will carry mucho momentum onto the back straight.
