Weather ForecastIntroductionRockingham Motor Speedway, officially opened in 2001 is an all-seater stadium venue with 7,500 seats in the Rockingham Building and a further 20,000 in grandstands around the circuit. The awesome £52m 1.5 mile oval has a maximum banking angle of 7.8 degrees and two of its four corners are used in the 2.56 mile International Long Circuit. It is the first purpose-built race track in the UK since Brooklands opened in 1907 and is set to revolutionise motorsport in the UK.
