La Guacima Racetrack Inaugurated in 1974 this world-class racetrack is located in La Guacima, Costa Rica, twenty minutes from the San Jose International Airport and just thirty minutes from downtown San Jose. Autodromo La Guacima is widely recognized as one of the finest racing facilities in Latin America. This FIA licensed circuit is in operation twelve months of the year and frequently hosts high profile international auto and motorcycle racing series.
With 3100 meters in length with a width of 12 meters, La Guacima is considered an extremely technical track, with twelve distinctive curves of varying speeds as well as numerous elevation changes. La Guacima offers full media facilities, a fully licensed restaurant, dedicated race shops located on site, full electronic timing and scoring with its scoring tower and on site wireless Internet. Future additions to the circuit will include a new three-story television tower, shaded VIP grandstands and corporate suites.
